The Venue
95 degrees and sunny, the perfect day for a Silverado Resort Wedding. It was a scorching hot day but thankfully there were so many beautiful spots around Silverado that kept me cool. The bride got ready with all of her bridal party in one of the beautiful cabanas on the property. We then made our way to the beautiful wrap around porch for a quiet first look between the bride and groom, before eventually ending up at the ceremony site, a grove of tall oak tree trees. I personally love lots of greenery in my photos, so it was a match made in heaven.
Joy + Andrew
Speaking of a match made in heaven, let’s talk about the bride and groom. Wow. I mean wow! This couple is as kind as they are accomplished. In every single toast, numerous guests rifled off Joy + Andrew’s many individual accomplishments – everything from attending business school to starting their own company, but their biggest accomplishment no doubt was each other. The night was filled with so many tears, both of laughter and joy. Joy + Andrew didn’t opt for an engagement session so it was our first time meeting, but I absolutely felt connected to them both. As the sun went down and things began to cool down, everything started to heat up on the dance floor. It was so fun watching everyone dance to Vybe Society!
