Land’s End Elopement | Kim + Earth

Talk about making lemonade out of lemons. Kim + Earth, like so many 2020 couples, had to scrap their original wedding plans this year. It’s been a rough year for couples thus far; filled with anxiety, uncertainty, and confusion. But the glimmer of beauty in all of this, is that couples like Kim + Earth have found unique and creative ways to make it work, hence a Land’s End elopement.

I know I talk about the weather a lot in my blog posts. But I can’t help it! With weather as unpredictable as SF’s, it’s still such a wonder to me that it can go from 56 degrees and cloudy to 75 degrees and sunny in a snap. Anyways, I digress. On the day of Kim + Earth’s wedding, after days of overcast and cloudy skies, the sun decided to make an entrance in the literal 15 mins before the wedding ceremony. It was perfect.

The Details

Kim + Earth’s elopement was a small but mighty affair. Kim was an absolute vision in her white floor length satin gown and I swear, Earth could be seen barely containing his smile and excitement in each photo. Kim’s father walked her down the aisle, where Earth stood cliffside; with views of the Pacific ocean as his backdrop. Everything was quiet as they said their vows to one other, except for the sound of the ocean waves crashing and a few small meows from their cat baby, Judah.

After the ceremony we eventually made our way over to Shakespeare Garden where the picnic reception was held. Every single detail oozed Kim + Earth’s style; from the hand-embroidered picnic bags to individually packaged cupcakes to the pallet board sweetheart table they constructed. It was such a joy to watch these two tie the knot and make it official. Congrats to the lovely couple!
