Sometimes you just get lucky. One person reaches out to you for a photo session, you do well, and then suddenly, you get a string of referrals coming to you. Christine was the tail end of that string of referrals. And I am SO glad, because not only is Christine absolutely stunning, but she is one of the sweetest and most down-to-earth people I’ve had the pleasure of meeting. She’s one of those brides that will ask you how you’re doing even though it’s HER wedding day. Speaking of her wedding day, Christine + Jordan wanted to keep theirs close and intimate, just a chic botanical gardens elopement, followed by a reception at Wayfare Tavern.
Christine wore the most beautiful silk wedding by Alexandra Grecco, coupled with the most beautiful blooms from Romy Flower Shop. Jordan wore a navy suit and black tie with black shoes. They looked like they were pulled directly from a wedding editorial. Chic, simple, effortless style.
The day was overcast so we had the most beautiful light to work with in the Botanical Garden. It was bright, soft, and dreamy. The guests and florals were perfectly contrasted against the Redwood backdrop. The guests sat on benches and listened to the couples personal vows to one another, hushed beneath Redwoods. Afterwards we made our way over to Wayfare Tavern where all the guests gathered for happy hour. Drinks were had. Toasts were made. Dancing commenced. And I tried (for the first time!) the world famous fried chicken. And I could never look back. It was the most perfect day for a chic botanical gardens elopement! Congrats C + J!
